Servicing the Bay since 1948

Started in 1948 by Bill Dippie (snr) as a vehicle repair shop with light engineering, servicing the local dairy farms. In the mid 50’s he took on the New Holland baler agency which lead to a swing into the farm machinery industry of sales and service. Early 60’s he took on the Fiat tractor agency. In the later 60’s a major step up in the engineering side of things lead to doing cowshed builds and repairs and became a major part of the business in the off season, and still remains a major part today.
In 1976 Stewart Rees and Jim Dippie take over the reins. They soon acquire the Kuhn, Giltrap, Duncan Ag and Hustler agencies for the Eastern Bay. In the late 80’s Jim, Stewart & Mike Anderson design and invent the Dieson rectangle yard backing gate, decades on we are still producing and servicing these gates.
2017 is the start of the 3rd generation as Bill Dippie (grandson) takes over from Jim. Continuing to move forward with technology and ever increasing changes but still keeping the family business values, doing the basics right.
